The health of the organization’s culture directly depends on the inner state of the leaders at the helm.
Stress and pressure caused by the external and internal environment and dynamics directly impacts the inner state or how we feel on the inside.
We may not notice it though. The same stress and pressure can lead us to push through and mobilize. That, in turn, pushes our inner states needs even further. Creating more disbalance.
While mobilization of focus and mental and emotional resources is a great skill and personal trait that’s event expected of leaders or any “high performer”, we are not designed to be in that “mobilized” state for a prolonged period of time. The inner system has to harmonize in order to function healthy.
When the inner state is out of balance or in pain, we go into a locked-up state. It is what some parts of us believe we need to do to protect us from more inner harm. There are many, many variables that form this protective mode. It is very individual and depends on the beliefs, patterns and energy pockets that formed and settled in our subconscious and our body throughout our life.
On the outside, what people around us may see is withdrawal from open communication, coldness, limited eye contact, more control, less patience, more rigidity, expression of anger and frustration.
And with that, we are also projecting energy (vibe) that can trigger fear and a sense of threat in others (energetically and subconsciously) that, in turn, will activate their own protective response. The organization’s culture begins to deteriorate.
Step 1. Listen to all thoughts and feelings that have accumulated on the inside. Explore these questions. How do you feel? What thoughts keep circulating? How do these thoughts make you feel?
Step 2. Listen to the second and third layer of feelings about the situation. Explore these questions: How do you really feel? How do you feel about being in this situation? How do you feel about feeling this way?
Step 3. Heal and release the energy of these feelings and thoughts from your system.
Step 4. Restore your sense of self, the Amazing YOU.
Each step has its own magic and transformational power. Steps 2 and 3 help you to really feel the impact of the situation on you and how much weight you have been carrying.
Steps 3 and 4 blend into a remarkable journey filled with discovery, practice, shifts, relief, healing and transformation. I’ll share our resources at the end of the video. Or use any other healing resources that speak to you.
