Our ability to get through challenges, to create opportunities, to find clever solutions, and to achieve our dreams with more ease and joy depends on the combination of thoughts and feelings we have in our default state.
A few self-reflection points and reminders to power up your week:
1. What would need to happen this week for you to feel accomplished and fulfilled? What would you think about yourself and how would you feel?
(Hint: answering this question may lead you to discover more about yourself. For example, you may see how you actually feel about yourself and discover blocks of self-doubt, self-rejection, and fear.)
2. How do you feel about your goals for this week? How would you like to feel? What’s not letting you feel this way?
From your reflections on #1 and 2, what feels like you need to release, let go to feel lighter, more hopeful and more inspired?
3. Life is a wave with high and low sides of it. We can feel excited and uplifted one day and feel discouraged and hopeless the next.
Embrace the feeling on the high side of the way. And tune in when on the low side.
Leverage it to discover, clear, and release the feelings, thoughts and emotions that come to the surface in this period of void.
4. Clear stress, overwhelm, friction daily to begin each next day with a clean slate energetically and mentally.
If you feel a lot of “weight” from too many setbacks or from a long period of stress and challenging times, you need to uncover it, clear, and release to restore connection to your True Self that can overcome anything and achieve dreams with more joy and ease.
5. Listen to your state of being throughout the day (thoughts and feelings) in relationship to what’s happening and in relationship to your goals.
We have to maintain inner harmony between our heart, mind, and soul to achieve our dreams with joy and ease.
6. Balance intellectual and creative activities (balance masculine and feminine functions.)
Connecting with your inner state is a feminine function. You must feel it. Our inner state is what impacts our decisions, perceptions, solutions, interactions, our ability to achieve our dreams with more joy and ease, and, ultimately, our reality.
Think of your inner state as a container of energy or vibration at a certain frequency.
It attracts events, people, situations that are a match to our inner state (thoughts and feelings.)
7. Practice gratitude daily: 10 things you’re genuinely grateful for (not because you think you should) and 5 things you’re grateful for that day.
8. Step into the version of you that already accomplished your goals for the week – see #1 above.
Activate it at the feeling level, become it. And see the difference it makes in how your week unfolds.
