7 Ways to Leverage End of Year Power

 
End of year is the most potent time to release, clear and let go of what we don't want to take into the new year.


During this time, our mind and various parts of us that usually want to hold on to our beliefs, conclusions and feelings that hold us back are more open to let go.

Because during this time, there is a strong global energy and desire for new beginnings, new hope, new dreams that feel the most natural at year end.

I invite you to leverage this time with release, clearance, and letting go.

Begin with the self-reflection questions / journal prompts below. Pause with those that bring something up in you.

- Which thoughts, feelings, perceptions have served their purpose and I can now leave behind?

- What needs to be released to allow for new growth?

- Where do I feel locked up, constrained? 

What is holding me in tension?

- What is holding me down?

- Which shields have I developed to cope and get through challenges that now need to drop to let me fly with ease.

- What feels like holding me in "claws"?

- What am I holding on to as feelings, thoughts, conclusions that in truth don't feel good and feel heavy and burdening? 

- If I didn't feel the weight of "things", how would I feel? 

- If I let them go now, how would I feel? 

- How do I want to feel entering the New Year?

- What needs to release from my system as clogs of feelings (energy) in order for me to feel this way?

Remember, healing takes time. Some things you will be able to let go easily, others may come back. What I know for sure is if you keep noticing and practicing, mastering your skill of restoring inner harmony, you will experience magical results - in all parts of your life.

Now explore the 7 ways we can activate the energy of release and relief. Choose what speaks to you or come up with something similar that would feel relieving to you.

1. Cleaning and decluttering your home and work spaces.

2. Cleaning house plants of old leaves.

3. Cleaning outside plant pots and garden areas of old leaves and branches.

4. While exercising, feel how the feelings, heaviness, worries, stress you want to release are leaving your heart, body, and mind.

5. Burning a campfire or candle. 

6. Being quiet in nature. 

7. Meditations focused on release.
