It was an honor to lead the 3rd Annual Holiday Tea held by the Connecticut Chapter of the Women in Bio organization. It was even more special as it was my third time leading this wonderful event focused on bringing women together, reset, and envision the new year.
The event was amazing. In my workshops like this. So much of what we covered resonated with the participants.
My teachings focused on empowering women to rise, believe in themselves, and achieve their dreams from a place of their True Self with joy and ease blend psychology, energy healing, energies in nature, and universal laws.
Through understanding concepts, self-reflection, guided visualizations fused with breathing, and art, we released the weight of last year, envisioned 2025, activated and elevated the next level version of ourselves.
In this post, I have summarized key points we discussed and takeaways. Hope they will help you too.
1. Our inner state is a blend of thoughts and feelings we experience in the current period of time and also those we have formed through our life experience. They are stored in our body as energy.
2. Our inner state, expressed as energetic state of being, directly impacts our decision, perceptions, ideas, conclusions, self-concept, interactions, and our reactions.
That’s why we need to take care of our inner world, release stress and disappointments regularly, and attend to and clear past suppressed emotions and false self-perceptions.
3. When we set goals for a new year or month, we need to get to the depth of why we want it. Why we want that job, or that promotion, or that title, or any other material and non-material thing. It is important because we need to set goals that are aligned with our true Self.
When we set goals that are not aligned with our true Self, we experience friction, challenges, difficulties on our path to achieving them.
4. We may feel very energized and inspirated in the beginning of the year. It’s very easy to get into a go-go-go and getting things done energy which if not balanced with letting control go becomes a forceful energy.
5. Being in this energy creates stress and can cause depletion and burnout. As a result, we will create an energetic resistance to achieving our dreams with more ease.
It's important to bring our state of being into harmony daily so that we clear this resisting and stressful energy before it accumulates and becomes our default state of being.
6. Visualization is a great tool. However, very often it doesn’t’ work. It doesn’t work when what we visualize as our dreams and goals is not aligned with our inner state of being. And it doesn’t work when in our visualizations we are forcing things to happen.
For visualizations to work, we need to focus on being and feeling like that person that has brought the dreams to reality.
7. The next level version of us that we strive to become, that is being, doing, having what we want to be, do, and have is already inside us. We just need to let it rise.
