January has been filled with events, decisions, and situations that impact many many people mentally, emotionally, and physically, directly and indirectly.
Just watching the impact on those affected directly and thinking of potential impact can activate all kinds of emotions.
January in and of itself can be a challenging month, especially in climates with distinct seasons in the Northern Hemisphere where temperatures drop below freezing point.
By nature's design, January is also a month of rest and hibernation.
So, it's very easy to get boxed in and even stagnant without noticing it. Yet, in order for us to maintain inner harmony, stay strong mentally and emotionally so we can get through any challenges and hold space for others, it is important to keep our inner energy flowing, resetting, and recalibrating.
What is also important to remember is that our social and cultural perception of resilience often leads to pushing our feelings and emotions down and pushing through the challenges.
It works in the moment, in extreme situations when we need all our inner strength that we've got.
However, pushing through over a pro-longed period of time creates an inner vacuum, a bottled up effect that impacts our mental and emotional strength more negatively than we realize.
Eventually, we burnout or come to depletion and depression.
To maintain the innate resilience we have in limitless capacities, we have to keep our inner energy flowing, resetting, and recalibrating.
The best place to reset, recalibrate, and elevate how we feel (our vibrational frequency) is nature. Even though, spending even 5 minutes in nature or going for a walk is helpful and better than nothing, here are 4 keys to really leverage the power of nature:
1. Make it a regular practice. It is easy in the summer. More challenging in cold winters. Still, make it a regular practice. A few times a week, or at least on the weekends.
2. If you go with a friend or someone special, stay quiet. Do not talk. When we talk, our mind is engaged and we can't hear what our body is saying. We can't connect to the energy on the inside and to the energy in nature.
3. Go beyond just enjoying fresh air and beautiful views. Take slow and longer breaths, listen to where there is pain, tension, stagnation, stress in your body. Breathe into those areas to dissolve the pressure and breathe out.
We have a great collection of complimentary energy flow activations that will help you do that while walking (with eyes open :)). You can access them instantly inside our app. Get the app here >>
4. Feel the energy in nature. Notice what catches your eye. Notice how what you see feels to you. Is it how you'd like to feel on the inside? If yes, breathe it in.
Nature always communicates with us. It always guides to what we need the most in that moment. The same ocean view will feel differently to every one of us.
As you connect with and release blockages and stagnation in the body, breathe in the expansive and limitlessness of nature, notice what is rising in you, what's opening up for you.
With our energy flow activations, you will practice and master listening to the energies in nature so you can use them to release what needs to be released, restore inner harmony, re-align with your dreams at the energetic level (vibrational frequency), and step into the next level version of you to bring your dreams to life with more ease and joy, and support others who need your light and strength.
