It’s hard to believe we’re already nearing the halfway point of the year. Now, it’s even more important to continue our practice of beginning each new month with intention and a fresh chapter.
You might be feeling pressure to achieve your goals or carrying stress from past months. Maybe the ongoing national uncertainty has left you feeling unsettled. Maybe your organization is overflowing with changes. Maybe your career is in transition. Or perhaps your relationships are feeling the strain of ongoing challenges.
That’s why it’s so vital to pause: to reset, release, restore your inner peace, and make space for good things to grow.
In the Northern Hemisphere, nature is entering a season of deep growth - summer. It’s a time not just for blooming, but for building reserves of emotional and mental strength that will carry us through the winter months.
In the Southern Hemisphere, it’s the beginning of winter - a period of hibernation and rest.
In this Chapter 6 reset, we’ll look at:
- Key steps to start the month with a clean slate
- Unique energies in nature we can leverage in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres
Let’s review our key steps to start the month with a clean slate:
-
Celebrate yourself.
The little things and the big things. Not only the tangible accomplishments - celebrate how you felt, how you navigated the ups and downs. And if you don’t feel like celebrating, simply acknowledge how far you’ve come.
-
Tune into your body.
Notice how your mind feels, how your heart feels, how your body feels. Locate areas of tension, heaviness, contraction, or stress - in both your body and your headspace. Allow yourself to fully feel what you’re feeling.
-
Release.
Let go of the stress, the weight, the heaviness, the contraction. Don’t rush this part, your nervous system needs spaciousness to unwind.
-
Listen inward.
What’s opening up in your soul, heart, and mind? What dreams, desires, or changes are calling to you now?
-
Gratitude.
Write down what you’re genuinely grateful for, no matter how small. Gratitude is an amplifier of joy, presence, and possibility.
For a complete reset that truly creates the feeling of a clean slate, each step needs to be done both mentally and energetically, at the level of thought and feeling.
To engage the mind, use journal prompts and reflective questions. Write your responses by hand to deepen presence and clarity.
To engage the energy body, incorporate practices like guided breathing, visualizations, and intentional movement, such as swimming, floating, walking, or painting using the Bloomtica Art method.
Whenever possible, do these practices in nature to enhance grounding, renewal, and connection with your inner rhythm.
Next part: Set the vision for the new chapter
- What do you want to carry forward into Chapter 6 from earlier this year?
- What are you ready to leave behind or let go of?
- What would you love to experience or achieve in Chapter 6?
- Who is the version of you who has already achieved it?
- How would you love your journey through this month to unfold: easefully, joyfully, peacefully?
Just like the reset, these visioning steps are most powerful when done both mentally and energetically, engaging your thoughts, emotions, and inner sense of alignment.
Energies in Nature to Integrate and Practice
To nurture inner harmony and achieve your dreams with more joy and ease
Northern Hemisphere
June is the first month of summer. After activating spring’s renewal energy, we now deepen and amplify growth.
This is an abundant, rich season - when we not only grow but also begin to build reserves to carry us through the winter. Think of it as creating an energetic escrow account.
Spend time outside as much as possible. Notice what landscapes draw you in - forest, lakes, ocean, mountains. Breathe in the energy that resonates with you. Let it fill your body with the qualities you need: health, abundance, joy, clarity, guidance.
Make it a regular practice to release tension and stress so you create space for growth, joy, and success to flow in.
Southern Hemisphere
June marks the beginning of winter - a time to go inward.
Begin or deepen practices that help you listen more to your body, your heart, your mind, and your soul. Notice where your body or mind may still be trying to operate with summer or fall energy. Is there any sense of force or pressure?
Allow yourself to slow down. Soften the pace. Honor the energy of winter - hibernation, rest, reflection, and quiet preparation for the new growth of spring.
Let us know what resonated most with you.
Have fun, and notice something beautiful every day. 🌿
